Background

Koovers was conceived of as an aggregator for car maintenance and mechanic services – with a vision to organize a largely unorganized sector in India. The fundamental avatar of the product is an App that connects car owners to an array of service stations, automotive garages and mechanics.

Challenge

The brand needed a strong visual identity and tagline to position and describe what Koovers was. The logo would be replicated across online and offline mediums and would frequently be produced as signage. An initial website was also needed to launch, serving as a key point of information dissemination for both the supply and demand side.

Action

The Koovers logo design was envisioned by combining two key elements – the steering wheel of a car, and the letter ’K’, to create an elegant logo that reproduces well across mediums. The circular logo is geometrically precise, with orange and blue serving as the primary colours to make it stand out. We also created the tagline “The Certified Car Service Network” to position the brand as trustworthy and reliable. The project was completed with design and coding of the Koovers beta website.

Result

Koovers was downloaded 500+ times within the first 2 months of launch, and received an average App rating of 4.9 out of 5 stars. A significant amount of automotive service providers across the value chain have also partnered with Koovers to date.
